(Rose wasn't here today, Ron :-) ) Left the mooring just before nine and took a leisurely run to Llangollen where despite Joe's advise we ended up going straight through to the winding hole to turn as there were no moorings available on the run in. We had to sit in he winding hole in a state of almost suspended animation because the horsedrawn trip boat decided not to wait for us to finish winding. On the run back we were fortunate in that a 50 footer pulled away and the owner of NB MERLIN managed to move the boat astern of him, up by about 12 feet giving us enough room to get BH in. I should say that the boat he moved did belong to friends of his. By 12:15 we were moored not 5 boats away from JemimaD at which time we decided to take a walk into town after sitting down to Breakfast! The day started out in Brilliant sunshine but the weather has been closing in all day and now it's chucking it down but we'll still wander down to the restaurant for dinner very shortly. Tomorrow Helen has decided she wants to take a trio on the Steam train, I've decided that we're going to walk along the feeder to Horseshoe falls, after all it's only a couple of miles. So that's it for now, cos we're off for dinner. As You Do! Tony M ---
